Bail Recovery Techniques (2-days. Sat/Sun)

How to find the people, update on the laws, where to get employment, contracts, tracking, surveillance and forms. It will include some cuffing, take down and self defense techniques. The class is a combination of hands-on, video, lecture and in the field. This class does not fulfill the California Penal Code 1299 requirements but will cover indepth the requirements and methods for being compliant. Primary instructor has 20+ years in fugitive recovery, background in law enforcement and a black belt in Ketsugo Ju-jitsu. 10 students max. or 4 min. Primary instructor is J. Corey Friedman. $550.

Internet Search Techniques  (2 evening classes)*

Where to find the location of people, their assets, their employment and more. You will learn where information can be accessed for FREE or very low cost. Free trials to several database and live examples and practice will also be shown to the attendees. A review of numerous databases including how to set-up accounts, requirements, CD, and a book are included. This is a hands on class and lectures. Students can bring cases for assistance and demonstration. Students are encouraged to bring a laptop with wifi but it is not required.

Successful techniques for running a PI agency. What forms to use, the contract, how to interview new clients, how to make additional $$'s on the investigation with legal services and marketing techniques.

Telephone Investigations (2-days or 3-evenings)

Learn how to get unlisted numbers, trace phone calls, how people do legal pretext, how to get cell phone numbers and reverse directories. Learn techniques of tracking/locating prepaid cell phones. Lock-picking and Security (1-day or 2 evenings)*

Learn how to pick locks and how to secure a residence or business. Know what the weak points of any location are. This class is restricted to Law enforcement, fire & emergency medical agencies and pre-approved private investigators. This class will teach you how easy it is for gaining entrance through just about any lock with just simple locksmith tools. Register early, this is usually a sell out class. Included are a locksmith license (if you qualify), fingerprinting, state fees, training and a book. All qualified students will receive a temporary California State Locksmith License the same day/evening. $299.

GPS Tracking (1-day or 2-evenings)

Includes a GPS tracking device with one month free tracking and no future commitments. If you wish to continue service cost is aprox. $15/month unlimited. Class will review and physically inspect several types and manufacturers of gps units. You will learn the pro's and con's of the different types. LIVE DEMOS WILL BE PROVIDED. This is a great way to increase business by selling or renting gps tracking devices. 10 students max. or 4 min. $450.

Executive Protection Seminar (7, 14, or 21-days)

This class in the ultimate in executive and bodyguard techniques. It involves not only lecture but practical exercises so the studnet feels comfortable when he/she is actually on the job. Instructors include a retired LAPD officer, the Nick Harris Detective Academy Director and former police officer and retired Secret Service Agent(s) who did personal protection for a former President of the United States.

Getting Public Records (1-day)

This is Don Ray's most popular class. This class is a little different in that you will get one-on-one time with Don since we are keeping the class size small. As many of you know he is a very humorous speaker, but crams your mind with all kinds of new techniques. He truly is the master locator of  public records. Have you ever not found or didn't know where to look for some documentation? This is the guy to talk to!

Understanding the Polygraph & Lie Detection(1-day)

4/12/08 or 5/25/08 9am - 3pm
Learn the techniques of how to use and beat the digital and analog polygraphs. Learn the differences of the various manufacturers. This will be a hands on training combined with lecture. The purpose fo the class is  so that the investigator can book polygraph exams and sound knowledgable to the client. This is a great class to be able to book additional business for lie detection services. Do not expect to be able to do polygraphs on your own with just this class. Build a PI website (1-day or 2-evenings)

 Learn how to build a FREE or low cost website that you can maintain and change the information very easily. No web design experience needed. Also we will show you how to get free web hosting. At the end of the class each student will have their own cost-free website. The price of the class is far less than the cost of a hiring a programmer to do a website! 12 students max. or 6 min. $200.

Rekeying Locks (2-evenings) 6pm-9pm*

Learn how to rekey locks so the old key will not work and a new key will work, without replacing the lock. This is very handy for he client who has been burglarized and you need to immediately provide security by rekeying the locks. This class is also available to apartment owners and managers. The average cost to rekey 2 locks on a house or apartment is aprox. $100. on a non-emergency basis! This class will pay for itself in just a couple of jobs. Class will include tools/supplies/keys for rekeying Kwikset knobsets/lever handles, kwikset deadbolts, schlage knobsets/lever handles and schlage deadbolts. $225./class  $350./private/3-6hrs
