Our Private Investigation Courses are open to all interested individuals meeting our prerequisites. They are designed for the novice changing their career from another field, working private investigators who want to update their skills, and former law enforcement officers training to excel in private investigation and successfully pass any required state exam for licensing.

Nick Harris Detective Academy has been placing qualified graduates in the investigation field for more than ninety years. The Academy is fully licensed by the State of California. Our instructors hold state credent-ials and are licensed Private Investigators.

Entrance Exam

Are you among those who possess the proper traits to become a professional private investigator? Our entrance exam is designed to see if you have the aptitude and instinct to enter the field of private investigation. Placement Assistance

Graduates receive assistance on resume guidelines and successful job interviews. We have an aggressive placement assistance program, providing leads and referrals to enthusiastic students.

Free Class

Potential students are invited to attend a free class to see if they like the training. An appointment is required.
